Mary is talking about an encounter with Matthew Winkler's parents after the killing. Mary says she asked to see Matthew's mother in jail and that when his mother showed up there was a "clear sign of hatred" for Mary. She says she knows the Winkler's are taking care of her kids.

Mary says she immediately started trying to get her children back when she was released from jail in September, 2006.
