"This money will be used for the immediate and future needs of the Winkler children."

Winkler confirms there is $11,ooo left in the fund.

Winkler says he has no knowledge of where the money in the account came from specifically.

$28,675 was sent to Dan Winkler to purchase a "reliable car" to transport the girls while they were in custody.

Total of car was $35,617

Winkler says he took the $7,000 difference from the Winkler Family Fund and that it was an appropriate use of funds.

Mary seems to forget that Dan and Diane took care of and raised the girls for a long time. They were within their rights to spend money from the fund to take care of them...no matter what the need. After all, Mary seems to be spending her money on cigarettes and going to beer joints at night while leaving the kids with a baby sitter. She just wants the money so she can continue her lifestye.

AMEN TO WHAT ANONYMOUS SAID ABOUT MARY ONLY BEING CONCERNED WITH HER CIGARETTES AND DRINKING WITH HER SO CALLED FRIENDS. SHE CAUSED THIS MESS , SO SHE SHOULD SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES! THE WINKLERS ARE THE REAL VICTIMS IN THIS CASE, DID ANYONE FORGET THAT THEIR SON WAS KILLED FOR NO REASON! SO WHAT IF THEY TOOK THEIR OWN GRANDKIDS TO DISNEYWORLD , THEY ARE ENTITLED TO THAT RIGHT.

I guess Mary and her attorneys expected the three girls to go to Disney alone without any adults present just to make sure that the money was spent on them. Ridiculous.

If any children needed to get away from tragedy for a small while it was these three girls.
