Doctor says Patricia (the oldest daughter) made the statement, "She killed my father, how do I know she won't kill me." He says she is having a difficult time. Doctor says Ally (2nd oldest) is internalizing her issues and that "...She hasn't full dealt with the scope of these issues." Doctor, "I certainly have concerns about custody issues given what I know about Mrs. Winkler."
The doctor says down the line, the girls need to deal with their mother but not right now.

Are the children there today? Have Mary seen the children their today at all?
Sounds like Patricia needs to set down with her mother and ask her whatever questions she has to ask. I believe Patricia needs that part of recovery.
I dont. I think that Patricia has been through enough. as a 9 year old... she's not completely understanding what's going on. I think that it will be better later.
The children do not appear to be here today. Mary last saw the children September 9, 2006.

"She killed my father" would not be the words of a nine year old. I have a gifted 7 year old even he still says daddy. Sounds like Dr. is assign words to what he thinks the little girl is feeling and not giving real quotes that she might have said. But given he is there for the winklers I would expect that from and expert witness.

Mary's Father-in-Law is a Preacher. Surly he has counceled others to forgive and move forward. If he is really concerned about the safty of his grandchildren then teach them the forgiveness of God's love and move toward supervised visitation, where he can practice what he preaches! But then again only God the Father loved enough to forgive those who killed his Son!
